I am a licensed clinical social worker in Los Angeles and have experiences with working with people all over the state. I have worked with children with severe mental health issues at El Centro Del Pueblo. I have worked with people in the entertainment industry at the UCLA Behavioral Health Associates Motion Picture Clinic in Calabasas. I have also worked with people undergoing ketamine, TMS, and ECT treatment at UCSD Health. Previously, I served as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work where I taught various graduate level courses since 2016.
I have been working in the mental health field for 15 years. I have held positions in various mental health roles, including as an LCSW, a clinical supervisor, field instructor, and therapist.
I regularly conduct community workshops and lectures on topics such as Trauma, Anxiety, and Maternal Mental Health.
I specialize in trauma and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and certified in Managing Adaptive Practice, Seeking Safety, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) evidence based practices. I have had advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and am pursuing a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International.
I received my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work in 2010. I received a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and social welfare from UC Berkeley in 2005.
